Free Concerts Every Sunday in December at the Stratford Library

Classic harpist Rebecca Swett Returns with Holiday Music December 6th

Classic Harpist Rebecca Swett will kick-off the holiday concert series on December 6 with “An Afternoon of Holiday Harp Music”. The concert will begin at 2 pm on Sunday, December 6th.

Swett began studying the harp at the age of ten. She performed in a recital hall at Carnegie Hall, attended Interlochen International Music Camp and played with the New England Music Festival Orchestra, the Connecticut All State Orchestra and toured Switzerland with the Greater Hartford Youth Orchestra.

Now a resident of Sylvania, Ohio, she has released 7 CDs and has performed in numerous engagements throughout Connecticut and Massachusetts including concerts, Sunday Brunch at the Historical Colonial Inn in Concord, MA, Ritz Carlton tea in Boston, MA freelance work which include weddings, dinners, special events and corporate events. For the Stratford Library concert Swett will perform classical holiday harp solos.

The Stratford Library will present a series of free, holiday concerts on consecutive Sunday afternoons in December on the Zoom platform.  Seasonal favorites are on the menu for the series which will be held on Sundays, December 6, 13 and 20 at 2 pm.  The concerts are free and open to the public.

On December 13th music will be provided by The New England Guitar Society and a concert TBA (To Be Announced) on the following two Sundays. For further information call the Library: 203.385.4162.
