Saturday, November 26th Shop Small at Sterling House: Shop Small Holiday Open House. Christmas trees go on sale; Face Painting; Swags; hot cocoa, Mrs. Santa Claus, and more. From 2 p.m. – 5 p.m.

Wednesday, November 30th Pediatric and Adult Covid, Covid Booster, and Flu Clinic sponsored by Stratford Public Schools: Wooster Junior High School from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. for ages 6 months up.

The Stratford Professional Fire Fighters, IAFF Local 998, will be collecting new unwrapped toys at each fire station, to support the Toys for Tots program. Donations are accepted at the locations listed below through December 21st:
Fire Headquarters (rear entrance): 2750 Main Street
Huntington Road Station #2: 1415 Huntington Road
Lordship Station #3: 21 Prospect Drive


Friday, December 2nd: The Friends of Boothe Memorial Park and Museum will present their second annual Boothe Homestead Christmas event, which runs through to Monday, December 5th. On Friday, December 2nd, there will be a preview party and silent auction from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. The cost will be $15, or $25 per couple. It will include light refreshments.On Saturday December 3rd the tours will run from noon to 7 p.m.: Sunday December 4th from noon to 4 p.m., Monday, December 5th, 6:30 – 8 p.m.

Stratford Recreation Girls Basketball League is for all levels!: This is a great developmental league. Grades 3-8th. Practice Starts December 1st and Games January to March! This year all teams will be into the Milford Hoopfest Tournament. An amazing experience for the girls to play rec teams from other towns with a chance to win the Championship! To register:

Saturday, December 3rd the Great Rake: Sterling House Great Rake, the November Community Cares project, will have families, groups, and individuals raking leaves from yards and walkways for free. You must be 65 years or older. To register or find more information email Pam Robertson at

Are you a Military Veteran? or have a loved one who served our country during the holidays? Did your family save any letters or memorabilia? The Stratford Veterans Museum would like to display Christmas cards, letters, pictures and any communications between a veteran and family or friends during the Christmas season. We would like to create a display in our Museum during the month of December. All materials will be returned to you. Contact Bob Mastroni
