Saturday, November 4th at 2 p.m. The Stratford Library will present “Remembrance,” four original Holocaust-themed one act plays in the Lovell Room at the Stratford Library,  The staged readings commemorate the 85th anniversary of Kristallnacht, the night of broken glass, which took place in Germany on November 9-10, 1938.

Sunday, November 5th from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Shakespeare Market, take a walk and see the beautiful Housatonic River. Learn about Stratford at Mac’s Harbor and the Historic District, wander down to Bond’s Dock. !!SHOP LOCAL!!

Thursday, 11/9/23 from 3 p.m. – 6 p.m. Flu clinic at the Birdseye Municipal Complex.  Flu shots available for ages 6 months +.  Appointments are required.  Please call 203-385-4090.

Friday, November 10th, at the Unitarian Universalist Church Fellowship Room at 275 Huntington Road, Stratford, it’s Song Circle night from 7 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.  All residents welcome to bring their instruments (if you play one).  We take turns going around the circle leading or suggesting a song. Bring a few songs to share or an instrument if you play one. Listeners welcome too! Invite a friend or two. Handicapped chairlift entrance at the back of the building and we unisex bathroom with grab bars. Masks are welcome but not required.

Sunday, November 12th, from 2-3:30 p.m., Sunday Afternoon Talks, Guest speaker Eric Chandler returns to the Stratford Library with Slaves, Freemen & Haitians in the American Revolution: Between a Rock and a Hard Place.
