Horticultural Consultant Pamm Cooper on Zoom Program

Sunday May 8th at 2 p.m.

The Stratford Library will present “Pollinator Gardens” with guest speaker Pamm Cooper on Sunday, May 8th at 2 p.m. The talk, on the Zoom format, is free and open to the public.

Pamm Cooper’s talk will be on plants, whether native or non-native, that support bees and other pollinators. Included will be spring- flowering ephemerals, long-season bloomers and plants that bloom coinciding with native bee activity. Most plants will be perennials or suitable shrubs.

Cooper works as an educator and horticultural consultant at the University of Connecticut Home and Garden Education Center on the main campus in Storrs. She has been involved with advising on establishing pollinator and butterfly gardens and teaches the entomology section of the UConn Master Gardener program.

“Pollinator Gardens” will be held starting at 2 p.m. on the Zoom platform. To register online and receive a Zoom invitation for the May 8th program visit: https://stratfordlibrary.libcal.com/event/8922296 or call 203-385-4162.
