Saturday, May 20th and Sunday May 21st: Sterling Advanced Futbol Club Tryouts:
Sterling Advanced Futbol Club adds a premier competitive program to the legacy of Sterling House Soccer.
This club will provide an advanced level of training and competition to grow and strengthen the game of soccer in Stratford and the greater Bridgeport region. This club will develop and inspire young soccer players of all ages and backgrounds to bring their best to the game in all aspects; fundamentals, teamwork, sportsmanship, and game IQ. SAFC upholds the spirit of Sterling House and a dedication to positive youth and community development.
Included in Fees:
- All League Fees
- Player passes for league, tournaments & events
- Soccer Kit (Uniform+)
- Training twice a week
- 1-2 Games on the weekends (Games will not compete with SHCC Rec league games unless noted) Total of 6-8 of games per season
- Opportunity to join Sterling House’s Recreational League for additional games and practices with a volunteer coach for only $50. (We will structure rosters to have no more than 2 SAFC players per Rec team)
Boys & Girls – Players from Stratford and surrounding towns may join:
- U7-U10
- U11-U14
- U15+
Practices:Â Each team has 2 training sessions a week held on fields in Stratford
Games:Â SAFC is a part of a Competitive Soccer League
Home games are held on fields in Stratford
Away games are held on fields within a 30-60 mile radius of Stratford
