Dear Neighbor,
I’m excited to share that Stratford resident Carol Pekar, a dedicated employee at Trader Joe’s in Orange, was selected from one of the 545 stores nationwide to be part of the Rose Parade float crew!
The Rose Parade, held annually on New Year’s Day, is a beloved tradition that attracts viewers from around the world. It features floral floats, marching bands, and performances that captivate audiences both in person and through televised broadcasts. Being chosen to participate in this event on the Trader Joe’s float is a testament to Carol’s exceptional dedication, talent, and creativity.
Carol Pekar, who has been an integral part of the Trader Joe’s art and flower teams in Orange for several years, has consistently demonstrated her commitment to providing a welcoming environment for customers through her creative designs and displays.
Please join me in congratulating Carol on this incredible achievement. We’re so proud to have had such an outstanding representative from our community at the Rose Parade!
